More than just Soup
Help us feed the elderly and other vulnerable people living in poverty through our soup kitchenOur Soup Kitchen: More Than Just a Meal
Our Soup Kitchen provides three-course meals on weekdays to elderly and vulnerable people living in poverty.
In Ognyanovo, Bulgaria, the Soup Kitchen run by Mission Without Borders is a place that truly transforms lives. Each day, hot, nutritious meals are prepared and served to around 12 people, including the elderly and those with chronic illnesses or disabilities. But the Soup Kitchen is more than just food, it’s a place where people find care, community, and family.
The Mission team and volunteers pour heart and dedication into everything they do, from planning menus to carefully preparing and distributing each meal. Their work meets real, practical needs, while also bringing hope, love, and encouragement to those who might otherwise go hungry.
Beyond food, the Soup Kitchen provides spiritual and emotional support. Coordinators visit regularly, listen to concerns, pray with recipients, and offer help with health, family, or financial challenges.
